Look at your job, career and lifestyle, analyse every aspect, then start to make some plans – plan for your dreams! However, analysing yourself is the hardest thing to do, so if you need some help, see how you get on with the questions below:

  • When I think about my current job, how do I feel? -  Am I learning and growing?
  • If I stay where I am, where will I be personally and professionally in; three years or five years?
  • What is my next destination? - What am I looking for in my career?
  • Does my current job satisfy these criteria?
  • When I get ready to leave for work, how do I feel?
  • When I get home how do your family and friends think you feel?
  • Am I comfortable in my work environment?-Do I feel part of a team?
  • Do I enjoy the company of my workmates and do I learn from them?
  • What are the five things I like most about my job?
  • What are the five things that bother me most about my job?
  • Are the things I dislike most about my job resolvable?
  • List five short term and five long term personal goals.Does my current job fit in with these personal goals?
  • Do I have skills that are not being fully utilised? Am I really prepared to make a change?
  • Do I have skills that could be better used in another area?  What are they?
